Debate on Education in Somalia
Upact and HIRDA are excited to invite you to our upcoming theme evening on 7 December 2011. We will host an animated debate on education in Somalia.
What are the challenges in a conflict country like Somalia and what progress has been made with regard to education in Somalia; these are the central questions of the evening.

Olloriak Sawade, education expert of Oxfam Novib and Fatumo Farah, executive Director of HIRDA will talk about the state of the art of education in Somalia and their role in this. There will be a “critical voice”, a speaker who will ask critical questions about this and of course the audience can join in on this and ask questions themselves.
